We release payment in 7, 15, or 30days of the timeline after the content or project is approved by the customer. The payments are combined on our fortnightly release.
The timelines vary for a single task order to bulk projects with multiple content pieces. We give you an approximate date of payment release at the start of the project. You can check the status of the project on the platform. The projects are usually closed on a monthly basis and it takes up to 10 days for customer approval if everything goes well. In case of payment delays, we update you on the expected payment.
We assure payment for every task that gets approved by the customer and we receive payment for the same. The mode of payment is through net banking. The money will be transferred directly to your bank account (That's why we ask you for your bank details!?) and you'll be notified via an email with the payment voucher with details of the tasks and pay.
Update:
- For the last 4 years, we have released payments every Saturday, but writers complained of the amount being credited on the consecutive weeks of payment due to time taken in Bank processes. Starting 12th Oct, all the payments of 2nd and 4th Saturday of any month will be moved to the next Tuesday.
- We plan to proceed with this process for the next few months before switching to Fortnightly payments. This approach helps our writers get a significant amount together and manage finances better and it also helps us manage the process efficiently. We are not implementing this immediately to ensure you have enough time to get used to the new timelines.
