At WittyPen, post sign-up each writer is expected to show interest in tasks/projects of their preferred niche. Thus, it's advised to enable SMS notifications to stay up to date on the latest updates related to work.
Step-by-Step Guide
Please follow the below steps to enable SMS notifications on your Wittypen account:
- Visit your profile and click on your name in the left-hand bottom corner > Select "Settings."
- In the settings menu select Notifications > Click on "Receive SMS" accordingly.
- In the settings menu select Notifications > Click on "Receive SMS" accordingly.
- In case your phone number is not verified the site with prompt a pop-up requesting you to verify your phone number.
- Select "Verify my phone number" and the link will redirect you to the verification page where you can request an OTP to verify your contact number.
Note: This setting can't be enabled if you have an unverified number.
Why is this necessary?
There are two important reasons to do this. First, this is to comply with the latest TRAI regulations and validate a number before sending critical updates to any number. The second reason is to prevent the abuse of this feature. With OTP verification, we as responsible senders, are sure that your notifications land in the right hands and the delivery doesn't bounce off.
